I’ll count them all when I’m done. But this is how it works (for me–ur mileage may vary). I gawk and clutch my stomach. I flip through the ms. and read random stick notes. I clutch my stomach some more and pray for booze. Then I address each note individually. then i read through the whole thing, mark stuff I might want to address and then go through and look at the stuff I marked one last time and decide whether to address or not.
