Here and There Redux

I promise to do a Thursday 13 when I get home tonight!

Yesterday the kid had to get his cast off. Today they both have to go to the ortho and I need to go to the grocery store SOOOOO a couple quickies. Linda got her Hands On! And tomorrow it’s May’s turn! Stop by for a review, an interview and a chance to win a signed copy of Hands On. Also….there’s still time to comment at Naught and Spice! I wont be drawing a winner until Monday night!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by…..Tuesday was a good, but hectic, day complete with tons of rain and a trip to Barnes and Noble with the child (who I bribed shamelessly with Starbucks) to see my book.

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO

Happy Release Day to me! You can hop over to Mik’s blog to see a pic of Hands On at her local BN.

I’m also blogging about fantasies and the idea behind Hands On over at Naughty and Spice (Tuesday’s are my regular day over there).

And thanks to Rhian for this lovely pic of Hands On Georgia Style! ho_ga.jpg

Hither and Yon

Thank you to everyone who requestd a free book. If they didn’t go out last week, I’ll get them out this week!

So I’m over at SFC today talking about The New Rules of Love. Tell me what you think!

Also there’s another damned group blog in town and their grand opening is today. We–er they’ll be giving away prizes all week (or is it next week). Anyway it should be a lot of fun so stop by.

Fire Sale

Must add my own reminder that there’s just over a week left in Brenda Novak’s JD auction! Bid and bid often!

I also got an advance review from Talia at Joyfully Reviewed!

Talk about wild women! Lexi, Lanie, and Carlotta would give the Desperate Housewives a run for their money. Each woman is at ease with her own sexual needs and doesn’t mind going after what she wants. Experimentation is just a word to these three naughty nymphs and the men in their lives have no idea what hits them. I really enjoyed how each novella in the anthology was separate but tied in with the other two stories.

Amie Stuart has given new meaning to the words, ‘Independent woman’ and I am certain that Hands On will be a big hit. While some readers may not like some of the homoerotic aspects*, I found the writing of Amie Stuart sensual and realistic. Hands On will leave you panting for more from this talented writer.

My editor was kind enough to send me a package containing extra copies of Hands On (which goes on sale in six days!) so I thought I’d give a few away to say the first three people who can be arsed to read and post a review for me (either on their blog or amazon or both).

Just drop me a line at spamless @ amiestuart.com

——-
*do I need to explain this? One of the heroines is bisexual….the other two just very comfortable with that part of their sexuality, comfortable enough to appreciate what a woman can bring to the table, even if it’s not “on the page”.

Just Not In The Mood

I’m home safe and sound……I’m just not in the mood to blog right now. I had a great weekend adn got to meet/see some wonderful people (some again some for the first time).

I will say this, HEROES was one of the best (saddest) finales I’ve ever seen, ever. *sigh*

So what’s new in your world? What are you going to do with your kids all summer (closets are sounding kind of nice)? Have you seen Spidy? ARe you seeing Pirates? How many more weeks until Transformers? And oh yeah, Hands On goes on sale in a week!

13 Things I Have To Get Done By Tomorrow Night

Since I have to make a list anyway………I’m going south for the weekend but first, an ubber boring to-do list. WOuldn’t you rather be over at Southern Fried Chicas reading those excerpts and guessing who’s who?

2. Do toes and feet so I can wear sandals
3. Get cash.
4. Clean car out
5. Make children get rocks out of trunk (I’m not driving 4 hours with three bags of river rock in my trunk–gas is expensive enough).
6. Make children clean nasty living room
7. Make children clean nasty bathroom (I do NOT clean rooms that I don’t dirty up)
8. Pack (usually for me this is an adventure. I already know what I’ll wear but…)

Horrible Dream

As you know we’ve gotten TONS of rain lately here in Texas, and everywhere I go I see signs in people’s yards advertising the roofer that’s fixing their…roof. So far I’ve been real lucky. But last night I had a dream that the roof of my house was all buckled and messed up.

Now, it could have been caused from all the rain and hail and tornadoes and stuff, or it could mean I need to tend to my “house” in terms of writing (which is what’s been weighing on me).

And today’s scope (which I KNOW is going to make Raine laugh)

There are only so many times you can say, ‘But I didn’t know!’ and have it be a legitimate excuse. From now on, make it your duty to find out what’s going on so you can take responsible action. Life will get much better.

What about you? Any interesting dreams lately?

And don’t forget it’s Day 2 of Do You Know Your Chica!
