1. It’s Thursday.
2. Tomorrow’s Friday. That means it’s almost the weekend.
3. It’s not MY weekend, which means no Hell Children. (I LOVE my children but after about 9 or 10 days of them, I can tell it’s time for them to go visit daddy for the weekend hehe).
4. I’m going to see Nancy Drew with Lynn this weekend–Mik, Denise…ya’ll up for it?
5. It’s almost Friday and I only have to work three days next week….
6. In 11 days I get my first vacation from the kids since last summer (and my third week-long vaca from them in 10 years of single motherhood).
7. In 11 days I get to see Shelli, Feisty, Emma, Karen, and a SLEW ‘O COOL FOLK!
8. I had no sleep and I’m delirious.
9. I have not smoked in six days, which means I have made it through five days with no smokes (and I haven’t killed anyone yet).
10. I have tons of work to do which means the next two days will FLY by!
11. Transformers starts in FIVE DAYS!!!!!!!!
12. I see cocktails in my future.
13. It hasn’t rained today….yet.

In other news……we saw Fantastic 4 which was a definite bright spot. To be honest, it was better than the first movie! I kid you not. It’s probably one of the best sequels I’ve ever seen. Or I was high on Diet Coke

No news on the dating front…..I’ve been hunkered down trying to edit a short for submission–its DONE and off to Vee for critique! Except I have to finish that extra sex scene I wrote and left a [ sex scene goes here ] bracket for LOL

I promise this will NOT turn into a promo-only blog….I swear……I pinky swear….but I don’t have anything to blog about really, so it’s kind of hard to come in here and sit down and type when I don’t really have a lot to say. I mean wouldn’t you rather stop by and see no new posts than stop by and see constant promo or schlep? *Sigh*

I found out early this am it was my day at the LSB author’s blog sooooooo since we’ve been chatting about online dating all week, I decided to do an early Thursday Thirteen over there.

Happy Monday Morning!!!!!!!!! Yes, Karin I will write today. I promise. But I also have some other blog duties to tend to. Speaking of which, I’m over at Southern Fried Chicas today talking about dating. And I”ll be over at Naughty and Spice tomorrow….also talking about dating.

We had our RWA meeting this weekend too, and afterward (after the nose) I ran home, packed up the kids and hit Candace Havens’ book signing. She and Rosemary Clement Moore we kind enough to both pick up my books. I have the hardest time figuring out what to write so here’s my question of the day…..what do you writers usually write when you sign books?
