My Dad Reads Paranormal Romance
HEHEEEEEEEE You heard me right! See on Tuesday I had to have some minor outpatient surgery and Dad had to drive me (bless his heart we had to be there before dawn even thought about cracking and then stay for like four hours once they were done). So anyway he finished his book and I always take extras so I told him there was one down in my bag and it was about a hitman (which is about all I knew because I hadn’t read it.
Well the book was HUNTERS MOON. I got it from CT Adams and Cathy Clamp at the book signing we did in Stephenville! Hehehehehe he finished like half the book in two hours! And I had to let him keep it so he could read the rest. He left for Ohio this morning so he’ll probably finish it on the flight back in a few days.
I’m up 4k on my Nano project. What’s everyone else up to? I feel SO out of the loop.

I got a total of 1300 words today. I’ll have to longhand it at work tomorrow and then tomorrow night… Well, I have to do the good mom thing again and work the theatre production at my daughter’s high school. I get to usher… exciting! I’ll work on it all again on Sat. until I have to go back to do the theatre thing again. It shoots my Sunday all to heck too!

I’m not going to say how much writing I’m gettign done. But I am going to say I read Hunters Moon and really enjoyed it. And strangely, for a romance, it’s first person POV inthe guys POV for the whole book. I loved it.

I have to try that with my mom. I swear the only thing the woman reads is the National Enquirer and the TV guide. Even when my book comes out in print, I bet she won’t read it. She’ll buy it, but unless it’s got pictures, I doubt she’ll crack it open. Go figure.
