So I’ve taken to watching the news in the mornings–usually for the weather/temperature. This AM on Good Morning America they had an interesting survey about when most people are happy in their lives.

You’re either young and happy or old and happy but women in their late 30’s and men in the early (?) 50’s are the least happy.

Obviously these are probably median ages, and everyone’s different but I have to say as I zoom up on 40, I’m probably happier than I have been in my entire life. My late 20’s and most of my 30’s SUCKED ASS–lots of struggle and drama that comes with being a single mom and just getting your sh*t together, ya know. I feel so much more content and relaxed at 38 than I ever did at 28 and I’m really looking forward to 40 because I know my 40’s are going to be great!!!!!

What about you? If you had to pick a best and worst decade what would it be? What are you looking forward to?
