Thirteen is my lucky number. I got thirteen pages yesterday including the two I wrote in the AM and still managed to go over some of the page proofs for NAILED Where I found a HUGE ASS mistake that I can’t believe I Missed. Actually, considering it was Christmas when I did edits and I stopped writing MUS to work on NAILED, yes I can but still it was big. Really big. Okay…okay it wasn’t this big, but it would definitely have earned me a mocking email from Sybil.
I’ve got RWA on Saturday as well as a book signing and chapter contest stuff this weekend so it looks grim. I’ll update the meter but probably won’t blog. Probably

At least you found the mistake! You don’t even want to know the kind of mistake I found. This book has had multiple different versions until it was right… AND I’ve had AT LEAST SEVEN people read my manuscript. I’m going through for revisions of the beginning and low and behold what do I find? A spot in there where, from the original version, it’s five years they’ve been apart rather than the seven from now… GAH! HUGE GLOWING MISTAKE. But I found it. *shrug*
Now I’m working on a serial killer. Snort. He just killed someone and Felicity is on the scene. She hasn’t met the hero, Gabe, yet. But she will… soon.
