Oh look I’m bloggin’
I just wrote this over at the Bradford Bunch, and thought it might make an interesting discussion…especially since Denise and I were talking about NAILED over drinks this evening…because, well, relatively speaking, NAILED doesn’t have a lot of sex in it.
I’ll be honest and say I don’t read a lot of erotic romance/erotica because, well, it makes me neurotic and then I start worrying because I might not have enough sex or it’s not this or it’s not that…I just value my sanity too much I guess LOL
Funny enough, I don’t think I figured this out until I wrote it just now. Am I wrong? Is this bad? I don’t think so. I think, sometimes, it is what it is. And sometimes, it isn’t
BTW While putting highlights in my hair this Am I wrote two more pages.

Hmm. I think I feel that way the suspense in my books, but I actually DO read them because I like to see how others do it… their technique, level of suspense versus romance, if they have the villain’s POV, etc. I’m always curious and SUPER nosy. *G*

PS I LOVE Suspense and always said I could never write it. Now, Nailed has a mystery and so does Screwed LOL (and I’m not reading suspense right now!)

Maybe you have the right idea here.
Just wanted to say I love your titles.

LOL Amy you know I’m so lucky. The only title I”ve had to change was Hands On (which was originally Blue Collar Chicks).
I need to get the rest of my covers up on that sidebar!

You can’t start comparing your style to others. Especially when you know that your style works. If the erotic stuff comes natural to your character, great, but you can’t force fit it. Readers can tell and it detracts from the storyline - which yours have.

Lynn…you can’t and you shouldn’t because you will BUT that doesn’t mean you don’t.

By the way, love the male nipple on your cover of Nailed. I wonder if they did that intentionally. Hot cover.
