If I Only Had A …

03.25.2008 by Amie in ...and over at NAS, Entertain Me

What would you do if you had a, er, penis? Drop by NAS and uh weigh in.

Hey I just realized today is Rita/GH day! Are you waiting? Biting your nails? If you get the call, gimme a hollar!

Yesterday while home with sick child, I watched Mr. Brooks. costner.jpgAll I can say is WOW! It was a TRUE psychological thriller….something we don’t see a lot of these days. I’m not sure who I liked best, Kevin Costner or William Hurt (as the psychotic devil on his shoulders). What I really liked though was…..Gonna put it below the cut because it’s a HUGE spoiler.

What I really liked was when Costner’s character found out his daughter was….well let’s just say the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. She dropped out of college and came home to try and escape getting caught for…murder. It was a FABULOUS twist and what a moral dilemma?!!?!?! What does a killer, who doesn’t want to be a killer, do when he finds out his daughter is also a killer? Does he let her get caught? Does he help her? Overall I give this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it. My only quibble was, I wanted to see more of how the dilemma with the daughter played out, because it was such a stellar twist. Maybe it was sequel bait?

So, what have you watched lately and why did you love it?

Geez, I’ve been wanting to see this!

Just LOVE it when traditionally good guys play bad-guy parts. They’re always so good!

I saw Mr Brooks. It was good. I saw that No Country for old men or what ever it was. DID NOT LIKE IT but I liked the characters if you can understand that.
I saw Bordertown. Like it. I lived near El Paso growing up for the scenery was familiar and I knew about the crimes going on.
I saw Beowulf. Not too too bad. I saw Deathwish, oh that was good.
With #3 in the Hospital so much we rented alot. I saw Reservations, cute.
Fracture is suppose to be good. I have that just haven’t watched it.
