Check out Sasha’s guest blog at SFC about the soundtrack for her book MY PEROGATIVE.

Check out my trip down memory lane at Love is an Exploding Cigar

and tomorrow be sure to check out Tawny Weber’s guest blog at NAS on cover appeal!

I’m not sure what happened to yesterday, but it zipped past in an ugly blur. It’s been that kind of week…and I lost the paper pages I was editing *sigh* And by the time my company left yesterday it was time to start dinner so NO writing yesterday :(

Over at SFC

I’m over at SFC today talking about Ravenous Romance and asking, “Will this raise the bar in epublishing?”

I got no writing done on Saturday but I had a GREAT girl’s afternoon out with Bailey Stuart, Lynn Matherly and Bailey’s good friend the oh-so-quiet-and-lovely Susie — We hit Michelle Miles‘ book signing…much book-buying ensued. Then we went out to linner (that’s lunch/dinner).

Then I drove him with Mik’s new book, and two YA’s in hand. Much reading ensued. As in I stayed up until Midnight reading, this book… by Robin Wasserman.

If you like Scott Westerfeld’s UGLIES series,  I HIGHLY recommend this one. I’ll also be doing some backlist glomming. And I passed it on to my kid.

Luckily I went nowhere Sunday….because this AM I took the kid to school, after chasing the damned dog, and had a flat on the way home. Much cursing ensued. :(

PS will update word-meters soon.

Jackie’s Challenge

I’ll be updating a couple times a week.

WITH Proposal

Rewrote opening of WITH and got six new pages this morning.

9/10–despite new pages on WITH I ended up losing pages due to the rewrite.

Sophie

9/10–Pages yesterday. Slow going due to worldbuilding but I”m picking along.
Nowhere

9/10–started paper edits on 100 pages. Need to finish up and tweak proposal (and brainstorm plot).

No Blogging

So after a summer of almost no blogging, I have to say, it’s been great. I’m barely on the net in the evenings, and now that the book is done (TYSBJ), I’ve got time to spend around the house (as well as writing other stuff). At this point, other than my group blogging responsibilities, I don’t feel like I have a lot to add to the blogging community so I’m honestly not sure if or when I’ll come back full time (and don’t feel the need to). However, you can find me on Twitter :)

And I”m doing Jackie’s 30k in 30 days challenge!

*Finished reading Patricia Briggs’ Blood Bound Saturday night…it rocked and now I want book three–gotta see how that love quadrangle plays out heeh! Also can’t remember if I mentioned it, I finished Lisa Gardner’s Say Goodbye–it’s probably one of her best yet, but also very violent and disturbing. (If violence against children bothers you–skip this one!). Both books were solid A reads for me.

Up next? Not sure but I’ve got tons of books to pick from.  I’m thinking I need some YA
