Next….I mentioned over at SFC yesterday that one of the blessings of being a writer was knowing some Damned Talented people. And I do mean damned talented! (you know who you are).

One of those people is Vanessa Jaye. I read her first review for FELICITY STRIPPED BARE over at Karen Scott’s and honestly, got a little teary-eyed. You see, I’ve known Vanessa since probably a year after I started writing. I met her on the eharlequin boards and eventually we got to be friends and critique partners and this book was phenomenal even in it’s earlier incarnations.

Even though we don’t critique anymore, I’m very proud to call her friend and celebrate her first book release. She is, without a doubt, a phenomenal writer (who needs to write faster damnit woman you’re killing me jeeeeeeeeez).

I feel beaten down. Yesterday was uber-busy at work and I had the worst allergies EVER. I woke up this Am about 6 with my eyes matted shut—ew I know. I really wanted to see The Hulk but based on some really bad reviews I’m going to see The Happening instead!

I’ve already received the two best presents ever for my b-day. My kindle and last night I went to see WANTED. OMG, new favorite movie evah! Seriously loved it. I’m going to give it an A and it’s been years since I’ve done that. LOVED IT! It’s going into the all-time favorites with Mary Poppins.

I’m totally cracked up over her putting it in her favorites with Mary Poppins! Go wish her a happy birthday!!!!

Okay it’s shower-time. Will write this afternoon.

I will be the first to admit that I”m the worlds biggest rule-breaker when it comes to my writing. I’m not afraid to try anything, especially in regards to POV. There is, however, one unwritten rule you don’t see discussed much. The one about the cat. You know–as in don’t kill it. This *seems* to hold true for movies too. But why?

Bad insomnia last night–thank you Kara (who got her nose double bitchslapped by the cat at 3 AM).

I did catch up on some season finales including NCIS *WTF?* damn, Criminal Minds (OMG), and Gossip Girl *sigh* I still have about three weeks of LAO and SVU to watch and OMG did anyone watch the season finale for CSI Las Vegas? I nearly fell out!!!!
